After you park you car in the private heated garage, stairs to the main level reveal an open airy living space perfect for those casual get-togethers. The living room sits before a natural river rock gas fireplace and is highlighted by the private balcony boasting views of the entire Elk Valley. This area is loosely separated by the L-shaped kitchen with a bar area on the living room side. The kitchen itself features a full compliment of new appliances in a ergonomically designed layout; this will ensure that meal time is a breeze for the chefs of the group. Beyond the kitchen with its large dining table for 8 is the back patio complete with amazing views of the Fernie Alpine Resort and a soothing hot tub to soak in the scenery. The overall design of this chalet uses wood floors and beautifully warm, rustic furniture to create a comfortable Rocky Mountain feel. There are three bedrooms upstairs all extensively using natural materials and colours along with a full bathroom with a double sink and counter. There are two bedrooms on this floor with one offering a queen sized bed while the other offers an amazing single and double single bunk bed made out of ruff hewn logs. The master bedroom is on the highest floor of its own and offers her guests a private balcony and fireplace set around a king sized bed with a full ensuite bathroom to boot. As with all Rocky Mountain Vacations accommodations, the TV, stereo, VCR, washer, dryer, and all other required amenities are included.
